Nisu Recipe Magnet

Trends come and go but nisu (pulla, cardamom bread, biscuit) is the all time favorite of the Finnish coffee table. The dough can also be used as a base for cinnamon rolls. It has all of the ingredients that were not available back during the war years: sugar, butter, spices. No wonder the smell and taste of nisu are so magical. Enjoy it with a glass of cold milk or a cup of steaming hot coffee. Leftover slices (if any!) make perfect French toast.
