This soap is handmade in small batches by Elina Ländman of Nuorgam, Finland. Gálddoaivi is a reindeer herding area in Sápmi in the northernmost part of Finland. The reindeer roam their freely, cared for by the reindeer herders. Reindeer herding is a natural source of livelihood for the Sámi people. Traditionally all parts of the precious animals were used. Out of respect to this tradition, they took the pure and nutritious reindeer tallow and made it into luscious soap. This natural tallow soap is handmade with love and does NOT contain any added color or fragrance.
